These sessions are run in a friendly group setting, guided by Breathworks accredited teacher Tammy who is registered with the British Association of Mindfulness-based practices. (BAMBA).
Breathworks is one of the world's leading mindfulness organisation, operating in 35 countries. Its founder Vidyamala Burch developed the Mindfulness Based Pain Management (MBPM) to help her cope with severe pain and health complications following two major spinal injuries. Breathworks courses have been backed with huge amounts of research, and have changed the lives of thousands of people.
Suitability and booking
The course is open to all and will take place in a small group online via Zoom.
Although mindfulness is an effective practice it may not be appropriate for everybody and the course cannot substitute for medical advice or treatment.
Once you have booked on to a course, final confirmation will be subject to completion of a short questionnaire about the course’s suitability. If it is decided that the course is not suitable at this stage a full refund will be offered.
