Who is this course for?
Many of us find that in our 40s and 50s, our moods, energy and cycles start to shift and many things in our lives no longer fit.
Although this stage of life can feel difficult, it can also be a gateway to self discovery, healing and becoming the most authentic version of you.
This eight-week Breathworks Mindfulness for Health course will be run exclusively for women aged over 40 or anyone experiencing side-effects of perimenopause and menopause.
It will focus on using mindfulness, meditation and mindful movement to help you manage this time of your life, while providing a supportive and safe environment for you to share with and support other women.
You will be guided through tried and tested techniques to boost your wellbeing, mood, health and emotional resilience. These are tools that you can use for the rest of your life.

These sessions are run in a friendly group setting, guided by Breathworks accredited teacher Tammy who is registered with the British Association of Mindfulness-based practices. (BAMBA).
Breathworks is one of the world's leading mindfulness organisation, operating in 35 countries. Its founder Vidyamala Burch developed the Mindfulness Based Pain Management (MBPM) to help her cope with severe pain and health complications following two major spinal injuries. The course has been backed with huge amounts of research, and has changed the lives of thousands of people.
Suitability and booking
The course is open to women aged 40 and over or anyone experiencing perimenopuase/ menopause symptoms. It will take place in a small group online.
Although mindfulness is an effective practice it may not be appropriate for everybody and the course cannot substitute for medical advice or treatment.
Once you have booked on to a course, final confirmation will be subject to completion of a short questionnaire about the course’s suitability. If it is decided that the course is not suitable at this stage a full refund will be offered.
